Obsession of the Day + Thank you!

Hi everyone,
I'm here today not only to show you what I'm loving but also to say thank you as I have just reached 50 followers on my blog. I'm so grateful that you are all following and commenting on my posts and I promise to be more frequent and consistent in posting. I'm also hoping to get hold of a new (and working) camera to document what I wear on a day to day basis and other such things. I'm going to wait and hold a giveaway when I get to 100 followers, largely because I am currently jobless and ridiculously poor so it's probably for the best. But seriously, thank you to all of you who follow, comment, or just simply visit my blog... it means so much.

Now, on to clothes....

Dermilla Round Hem Tailored Blazer

My pick for today is this gorgeous mint green blazer from Miss Guided. I think it is absolutely perfect. Obviously mint is everywhere this season but I love this muted tone which I think could go with so many different colours. I also love the shape of this blazer with the loose almost kimono-style sleeves and the casual tailoring. This stunning blazer looks so much more expensive than £25.99! If you want to pick up this bargain you can pick it up here!

Thanks again to all of you! Hope you have lovely Sundays and I will see you soon!

Obsession Of The Easter Weekend

Hello everyone,

Well last week I was laboriously searching through my usual websites trying desperately to find something I liked to post about. This week is a completely different story. I love everything. I cannot wait for my student loan to come through so that I can make a few cheeky purchases! And so, in celebration of the 3 remaining days of the long weekend, here are my three favourite items on the high street (or online) right now...

This blouse is amazing. As you may have gathered from previous posts I am partial to anything which happens to have an animal motif. This shirt features (in a way which you cannot tell in this picture) a gorgeous leopard pattern. Also, the collar and cuffs feature gold buttons which make this shirt look really expensive, far more than it's £29.99 price tag. Well done Zara! You can get it (and have a closer look at its detail here.

Marllena Cage Cut Out Dress

The second pick is this gorgeous mint (surprise, surprise) dress from Missguided.com; a brilliant website for a night-out-with-nothing-to-wear emergency! I, of course, love the pastel colour which makes what could be a very sexy dress more pretty and feminine. I love the cut out detail and think this is a dress which could see you through nights out all summer. It is £24.99 and can be bought here.

Image of Fern. Cage Ear Cuff

This next pick is a bit different for me! I recently have become really interested in ear cuffs... which have been fashionable for a while. This cage style silver cuff is from the jewellery online store Regal Rose which stocks amazing, unique pieces. This particular cuff is £12 and you can buy it here.

What do you think of these choices? What are you lusting over this Easter?

Obsession of the Weekend

Hello everyone,
Today is going to be a bumper edition of things I want as I am going to stay with my boyfriend for the weekend for a romantic pre-Valentine's few days. I've never really been in to Valentine's Day but if it's an excuse to be pampered and have nice food then who am I to complain? I am slightly dubious of travelling in the icy weather but I'm just going to rock my Hunters and get on with it!

Also I would just like to thank those who have looked, commented and followed my page! It is really very exciting and I hope you like it!

With that being said here are the things I need in my life this weekend...

The first is Vivienne Westwood's new perfume and follow up to the popular 'Naughty Alice' called 'Cheeky Alice'. This perfume has won me over because I have always loved the smell of 'Naughty Alice' and I love the description of this one... peony, rose and lily. It sounds like the perfect spring scent! I also have to admit a love for the extremely cute packaging and bottle - it would look perfect on any dressing table! It is a reasonable price at £31.50 for 30ml and is comparable to lots of designer perfumes on the market already. Perhaps this could be a perfect Valentine's gift?

Bertys Cross Print Jumper

So on to clothes! Perhaps because I know that I am going to have to brave the cold today, or perhaps because it's so god damn cute I am in love with this missguided.co.uk cross print jumper! Although I think it would be perfect for cold days such as today with a vest top or shirt layered underneath I think it would also look great in spring with jeans, chinos or denim shorts. I love the print on this jumper as it is so on trend and would add a bit of fun to a classic wardrobe like mine! The price is also pretty good at £22.99. I am definitely sold

coloured ultra skinny jeans.
Last but not least are these beautiful bright purple skinny jeans from Warehouse. I love a coloured jean and these are just the perfect spring/summer colour. I can imagine them with just a white t-shirt, rolled up legs and some loafers or a black chiffon top and some black heels for a night out. They also seem to be slightly high waisted which for me (and my less than perfect stomach) is a definite plus! They are £40 which is similar to the price of my favourite Topshop Leigh Jeans.

So that's it for now. Whatever you're up to this weekend have a good one! I will see you all next week when hopefully the snow will have gone and spring will be on its way!
